The French national Exoplanets in Transits and their Atmospheres (ExTrA) project is comprised of three 60-centimeter telescopes located at ESO’s La Silla Observatory in northern Chile. ExTrA searches for Earth-sized worlds around stars by looking for slight dips in light from a star.
