    Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf is a German research center focused on advanced materials, particle physics, and medical imaging. It operates some of Europe’s most powerful lasers and contributes to heavy-ion research and cancer diagnostics. HZDR is part of the Helmholtz Association, Germany’s largest scientific organization.
