IIASA

The International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) is an international research institute located in Laxenburg, near Vienna, in Austria with National Member Organizations in Africa, the Americas, Asia, and Europe. IIASA conducts interdisciplinary scientific studies on environmental, economic, technological and social issues in the context of human dimensions of global change. IIASA’s mission is “to provide scientific insight and guidance to policymakers worldwide by finding solutions to global problems through applied systems analysis. In this way, the work helps to improve human wellbeing and protect the environment.“
