In people with diabetes, fat mass index, not body mass index (BMI), is associated with a higher risk of cardiovascular events, according to new research in CMAJ (Canadian Medical Association Journal).

Heart disease is a major cause of death worldwide, and obesity is a major risk factor. Body mass index, a common measure of obesity, has been recently shown to be an imperfect metric because it does not distinguish between lean muscle mass and fat mass. When issues related to obesity are studied, suitable metrics that describe obesity accurately are extremely important.

Researchers analyzed data on 10 251 adults from the ACCORD study, a randomized controlled trial in the United States looking at diabetes and cardiovascular disease (CVD). The mean age was almost 63 years, and 62% of participants were men. The researchers found that people with type 2 diabetes and higher fat mass were at increased risk of major cardiovascular events compared to people with lower fat mass. In contrast to previous research, the protective role of lean body mass was not observed in the research population with type 2 diabetes as a whole.

“We found that the protective effect of lean body mass was observed in participants with a lean BMI of less than 16.7 kg/m2,” writes Dr. Xinqun Hu, Departments of Cardiovascular Medicine and Emergency Medicine, The Second Xiangya Hospital, Changsha, Hunan, China, with coauthors. “The increased risk of CVD in [type 2 diabetes mellitis] patients with lower BMI may be attributed to the adverse effect of lower lean body mass that overrides the positive effect of lower fat mass.”

The modern day diet is the cause of many of the illnesses that we now see and didn’t see about 120 years ago. The problem with the modern day diet is that it has too many incomplete proteins, incomplete carbohydrates, incomplete sugars and not enough complete proteins, complete carbohydrates and complete sugars. A good diet gives you the food that will give your body the ingredients to make complete proteins, complete carbohydrates and complete sugars. Complete protein foods have the 11 different amino acids which the body uses with the 9 different amino acids that the body manufactures to make a complete protein. When your body consumes incomplete proteins the body will improvise and make unhealthy cells. When your body gets complete proteins it has the ability to make perfect cells of every kind. Atkins diet needs to be looked at to see if it gives you enough complete proteins. However I have come up with what I call ‘Adelynn’s Miracle Beans recipe and diet plan which I have discovered to have all the amino acids and nutrients to help the body make perfect body cells of every kind. I have it posted on the internet. It surely will make you lose weight effortlessly as the fat will just melt away from your body as Adelynn’s Miracle Beans recipe cleans out your stomach and then forces your body to use your stored fat for energy. It can also help those that have diabetes but only if they STOP eating burrito wraps and taco shells because those two ingredients are some of the main causes of diabetes. When one eats burrito wraps and taco shells those ingredients get in the stomach and do a slow progression through the intestines. The liquids you drink doesn’t break down the burritos and taco shells because water doesn’t mix well with oil which is in the burritos and taco shells. Then most people finish their tacos and burritos with a soda which adds BAD sugar to the body thus compounding the problem that eating the burritos and tacos caused. The combination of the burritos, tacos, sodas and the oil they contain causes the stomach to have this bunch of food in your stomach too long which leads the body to feed off of this food which is not good for your health. As the body makes cells from this bad food it can only create bad cells and for many these bad cells lead to diabetes, cancers, maybe birth defects, many illnesses and other medical problems. Adelynn’s Miracle Beans recipe and diet can cure/relieve/prevent obesity, pot belly, constipation, E.D., some stomach cancers and other cancers, diabetes, wrinkles, high blood pressure and more! It can also make your muscles and erection the strongest they ever were in your life!
