Eyes News

Eyes are complex sensory organs that play a crucial role in vision by detecting light and converting it into electrochemical signals that are interpreted by the brain. The main parts of the eye include the cornea, iris, lens, and retina. Light passes through the cornea and lens, which adjust the focus, allowing images to be sharply focused on the retina. The retina contains photoreceptor cells called rods and cones that sense light intensity and color. Signals from these cells are transmitted to the brain via the optic nerve. The human eye can distinguish about 10 million colors and is capable of detecting a single photon in dark conditions. Eyes not only provide the sense of sight but also contribute to complex processes like depth perception and coordination, playing a fundamental role in numerous activities and interactions.
