A new study reveals that pets can be infected with the alpha variant of SARS-CoV-2.

The SARS-CoV-2 alpha variant has been detected in UK cats and dogs, causing rare but severe cardiac disease, likely transmitted from infected humans.

A new study in the Veterinary Record reveals that pets can be infected with the alpha variant of SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19 in humans), which was first detected in southeast England and is commonly known as the UK variant or B.1.1.7. This variant rapidly outcompeted pre-existing variants in England due to its increased transmissibility and infectivity.

The study describes the first identification of the SARS-CoV-2 alpha variant in domestic pets; two cats and one dog were positive on PCR test, while two additional cats and one dog displayed antibodies two to six weeks after they developed signs of cardiac disease. Many owners of these pets had developed respiratory symptoms several weeks before their pets became ill and had also tested positive for COVID-19.

All of these pets had an acute onset of cardiac disease, including severe myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle).

“Our study reports the first cases of cats and dogs affected by the COVID-19 alpha variant and highlights, more than ever, the risk that companion animals can become infected with SARS-CoV-2,” said lead author Luca Ferasin, DVM, PhD, of The Ralph Veterinary Referral Centre, in the UK. “We also reported the atypical clinical manifestations characterized by severe heart abnormalities, which is a well-recognized complication in people affected by COVID-19 but has never described in pets before. However, COVID-19 infection in pets remains a relatively rare condition and, based on our observations, it seems that the transmission occurs from humans to pets, rather than vice versa.”

They test for the flu since they’ve never isolated Covid-19. Which makes me wonder how they can tell there is a delta variant. They never isolated the virus but they use a test to show the damage of a solution does on monkey kidney cells then show the cellular debris as proof of the virus. So, they can use this method to claim an UNENDING! amount of variants. A lot of cancers and “viruses” are probably just different forms of parasites. Since the tests can’t differentiate between cold and flu and covid then doesn’t that mean ivermectin cures both the cold and the flu? Welcome to “they’ve been lying to us our entire lives about everything”. Get your Ivermectin No prescription required. https://health.p0l.org

        Of course they’ve isolated Sars-Cov-2.

This is an impressive amount of blatantly incorrect statements in a paragraph. Only the second sentence is not a lie! If you truly believe COVID-19 has not been isolated, then I have great news for you! The CDC received it’s first specimen from one of the 1st people infected in the US on Jan 20, 2020. The virus was isolated quickly. The CDC had grown enough in the lab to be able to distribute to medical and scientific reasearchers for study by Feb 2,2020. Every year, hundreds of thousands of people are tested in their doctor’s office to determine whether they have a cold or the flu. They are able to do this because scientists CAN tell the difference between flu and a cold.

If you truly did not know these things, I hope you are relieved to now know the truth. If you do actually know this, but are spreading some conspiracy theory to make money, you are an evil, vile creature. Examine your life; I doubt you wanted to be a horrible person when you were asked as a kid “what do you want to be when you grow up?” Figure out where you went wrong and fix it rather than being a swindling vulture. Disgusting.

Patriot Duty, they can isolate Sars virus. Virus’are real things… they have images of them if you care to know. The real “virus” is your sick and predatory lies that cause weak minded people to distrust reality and fall for delusional conspiracies. You are a part of a cult and you can’t even see how crazy you seem to anyone with even the smallest amount of decerning intelligence. Your not a patriot because it is the soul of America that you intend to spoil. You should read something before you pretend to know anything you idiot.

No,wait! Instead of pointing out that the conspiracy theorists are wrong, encourage them to use ivermectin for whatever they think they need it for. My veterinarian told me that a few universities are finding abnormalities such as missing tails, and two heads in human sperm among those that have used ivermectin. Luckily, several hundred men have been in fertility counseling anyway, so before and after sperm samples were able to be studied. Maybe those men won’t reproduce and thus eventually remove their idiocy from the gene pool.
