All ALPS Magnets Installed in the HERA Accelerator Tunnel
DESY’s “light through the wall experiment” ALPS II is taking shape. ALPS, short for “Any Light Particle Search,” is being installed in a tunnel section of the former HERA accelerator. The international ALPS team will search for dark matter using twenty-four former HERA magnets, laser light, and a highly sensitive detector. The last of these superconducting magnets was installed last week. During the last weeks all superconducting magnets have been brought into the tunnel. The last big part for connecting the magnets was installed today.
Almost exactly one year ago, the ALPS II team celebrated the installation of the first magnet in the tunnel; in just under another year, data taking could begin if all goes according to plan. “We are very proud,” says DESY project manager Axel Lindner, summing up the mood of the team. “While we were planning ALPS, we kept hearing the words ‘that can’t be done.’ But in the end it turned out that everything could be done, even during a pandemic.” The use of the tunnel, changes to the superconducting magnets, the complicated laser system, the highly sensitive detector — all this seemed impossible at first and is now becoming reality. “This has been achieved thanks to the great commitment of many “old” DESY staff who still know the secrets of HERA, and the participants of all collaboration partners, thanks to whose know-how state-of-the-art technologies are once again moving into the HERA tunnel.”
Hopefully, ALPS II will be able to eliminate another “that can’t be done” once it is in operation. So far, no experiment in the world has been able to detect dark matter. Researchers use telescopes, particle accelerators and even huge underground tanks to search for it, and its discovery would be a sensation, because in one fell swoop we would know six times more about our universe than we do now.
The nature of dark matter is one of the greatest mysteries of physics. Observations and calculations of the movement of stars in galaxies show that there must be more matter in the universe than we can explain with the particles of matter we know today. In fact, dark matter should account for 85% of all matter in the universe. However, we currently do not know what the components of dark matter are. But we do know that it virtually does not interact with normal matter and is essentially invisible, hence the term “dark.”
There are many theories that try to explain the nature of dark matter and the particles of which it could be composed. Some of these theories say that dark matter is made up of very light particles with very specific properties, for example the axion. It was originally postulated to explain aspects of the strong interaction, one of the fundamental forces of nature. ALPS was specifically designed to create and detect these particles. A strong magnetic field can cause axions to transform into particles of light, photons, and vice versa.
The strong magnetic field is created in the twenty-four superconducting accelerator magnets. There are twelve of these magnets to each side of the central wall, both sides housing two 120-meter-long optical cavities – a kind of long cabinet of mirrors. A powerful and complex laser system generates light which is amplified by the cavity inside the magnetic field and converted to a very small extent into particles of dark matter. A light-blocking barrier — a wall — stands in front of the other half of ALPS II. However, this wall is not a barrier for axions and similar particles, which can easily pass through it. In the second cavity, the particles of dark matter would be converted back into light. The tiny signal is detected by special, highly sensitive detection systems.
The next steps for ALPS II are the precise alignment of the magnets and the completion of three clean rooms in which the complex and highly sensitive optics will be set up. “We hope to be able to begin the search for dark matter in a year’s time,” says Guido Müller, Professor at the University of Florida, Gainesville, and deputy spokesman for the ALPS collaboration.

I’ve went and done this on my own can prove it the story is backwards it came to me the worst thing a human can be put through by this energy it exploits. If only we can theorize that Dark Matter (Dm) is the building blocks of Matter (M), then we can explain a lot of all the undiscovered mysteries of nature.
In short: If the theory says axions are part of dark matter, which makes a good part of the vacuum, then the theory also say we are expecting axions to be already and equally abundant on each side of the wall.
The CERN accelerator, is it using particles being passed through ALPS ll in order to create dark matter or Discover it in the universe?
Are smashed particles used to detect dark matter or create it,then CERN and other devices like it are reverse-engineered black holes.
Whereas CERN uses magnets, lasers, mirrors and other such devices to accelerate plasma to near light-speed then smashing the two packets of mass together at near light speed to uncover the secrets of the of the universe.
Black Holes do it naturally using gravity to accelerate Mass up to near lightspeed creating dark matter and dark energy upon the absorption into a black hole that spins. Since black holes Spin near light speed creating dark matter and dark energy. CERN does this using man-made devices to do the same thing. It’s possible that CERN may be creating dark matter and dark energy all along, but just hasn’t admitted it or figured that out yet.
This looks like the work of an advanced civilization, though not one that fits the arbitrary classifications we have seen bandied about.
