The Boeing CST-100 Starliner is an American spacecraft designed and manufactured by Boeing for NASA’s Commercial Crew Program. It is intended to transport crew to and from the International Space Station (ISS). The Starliner is part of NASA’s initiative to engage commercial aerospace companies in creating the next generation of U.S. spacecraft and rockets capable of carrying astronauts to low Earth orbit and the ISS. Unlike previous spacecraft designed for limited use, the Starliner is reusable and can accommodate up to seven passengers or a mix of crew and cargo.
